Graffiti, Creative Loafing, and Patriotism.

CREATIVE LOAFING:

The music edition of Creative Loafing came out today where they talk about how great Atlanta's hip-hop scene is, but only mentions wannabe mainstream and club rap.

Creative Loafing and Mosi Reeves don't know the first thing about hip-hop culture.

Zone Seven and Psyceldelic Rock.

I finally posted new beats on the Conspiracy myspace.

Check out http://www.myspace.com/weknowthedeal to hear music by myself and a Lee Harvey Oswald track featuring DJ Spytek.

Psyceldelic Rock is pretty great. Between the years 1967 and 1970 something happened in rock music because of a combination of things (drugs.mixing techniques.musical tastes) and thus everything from this era is excellent. I wish I had a psych-rock band.

Currently, my lack of a car is making it difficult to dig, but I'm still managing to come up on new records almost everyday. I'm writing a book called "Vinyl: The Effects of a Medium on an Artform", or something like that, but it might be a while til it's done. Not about specific records, but more about the effects of using vinyl as a medium for music distribution in the past and now.

The Zone Seven meeting was productive. Lee Harvey Oswald T-shirts are coming. Then the Zone Seven Compilation. Plus stickers.

The Conspiracy album is basically done...I need to work out the art and the arrangement of the songs on the album. I'm also gonna try and have 2 or 3 verses on it but so far that hasn't panned out.

I still have some work to do but the title of the soundpiece is:

Conspiracy_The Omega Complex (Into the Void).
